Former India International Robin Singh to be guest at BPL auction in Dubai
Dubai: Preparations are in full swing for the much awaiting cricket vaganza of the year, Bhatkal Premiere League which is set to begin 15 March, at Ajman Oval Ground, Ajman. In the trial-up to the preparation, over 160 players have registered their names with 8 different franchises that will participate in the competition. The registered player are set to go under the hammer for the eighth edition of the tournament on Friday, 15 February, when Former India International Cricketer and current Mumbai Indians coach Robin will make his way to the Dubai?s twin towers? party hall in Deira as the guest of honor for the auction ceremony of the tournament. Community leader SM Syed Khalil-ur-Rahman will also be present in the ceremony as the Chief Guest, along with other prominent personalities of the community. The title of the tournament is once again sponsored by prominent businessman, Amin Saifullah, while AUZ group of companies owned by Ateequr Rahman Muniri, and Hangayo have also come up with support sponsorships to the tournament. 160 is the highest number of players registered in a single edition of the tournament in the so far concluded 7 editions of the tournament. The auction ceremony will begin at 2.pm on Friday afternoon at the party hall of Dubai Deira?s twin towers. The organizing committee have called on people to join the event in large numbers to make the event successful.
